West Texas Crude Oil & Natural Gas Production Hit All-time Record

In the past month, production in West Texas hit an all-time record with regards to crude oil and natural gas. In fact, there has been so much supply due to the increased drilling and production, that natural gas prices in the area were negative for the month of May! As a result, producers had to pay their buyers to take the supply and move it into pipelines.

What does this mean for the region? Activity in the Permian Basin isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and the support infrastructure is not only necessary but may be lacking. This calls for more construction to expand housing and food services to meet the tremendous demand of this market.

OneLodge has robust offerings to stay abreast of this explosive market with two full-service workforce housing facilities in Midland, Texas, and Pecos, Texas. Your operations will see an immediate improvement in operational efficiency as your workforce will spend less time traveling between job sites. OneLodge also boasts a full-service kitchen with around-the-clock rotating menus complete with three freshly prepared meals and 24-hour snack and beverage service.
