Expansion of Catering Services on the Menu for Cotton Logistics in 2014
February 18, 2014 Cotton Logistics' catering division, recently incorporated as Cotton Culinary, closed out the month of January by conducting their first off-site catering event for a large group of energy professionals in San Antonio, Texas. The event, organized by Cotton Culinary's new Executive Director, Wes Bratcher, was a success and received great reviews from the over 100 personnel in attendance. Bratcher brings over twenty years of experience in food distribution services. He's owned and managed various restaurants, and most recently served as a general manager with Aramark where he oversaw their offshore catering operations. "Wes' experience in the remote workplace sector and food service industry aligns perfectly with our business plan to diversify services through experience and proven results. We're excited to have him on our team," said Cotton Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Pete Bell.
Bell has big plans on the horizon for Cotton Culinary, including the national expansion of their corporate catering and event services as well as opportunities in the disaster response industry. He adds, "We look forward to branding our catering services across new markets and as with every service line, we'll continue to focus on quality while creatively developing new concepts to appeal to our diverse and evolving client base." For now, Bratcher is focused on growth in the shale play markets, specifically in the Eagle Ford Shale and Permian Basin regions of Texas where Cotton Logistics operates four workforce housing lodges. With plans to break ground on two more lodges, the brand exposure is bringing new opportunities for Cotton Culinary with various off-site events in the pipeline.
