Regional Vice President
Chuck Matheny is a seasoned international business development professional with over 20 years experience. Mr. Matheny has personally managed over 1,500 construction task orders for the United States Military both in the US and abroad. He has lead business development efforts in support of the reconstruction projects in Afghanistan and Iraq, worth in excess of $300M. His projects have included complex construction developments involving US and foreign governments as well as private international commercial developers.
Mr. Matheny has served as the lead negotiator on large international private construction projects ranging from government funded social housing, to international private retail projects. He has managed the process of conducting major market analysis and feasibility studies throughout Europe, the Middle East and South America.
He has worked hand in hand with NATO and the US Army Corps of Engineers to design develop and build large man camps and training bases for the United States and its allies in austere environments. This process included location establishment, land acquisition, infrastructure, power and the design and construction of living accommodations and support facilities. He also worked closely to develop safety and security plans to meet demanding requirements. He also worked to develop key acquisition strategies to enable the success of his projects.
Mr. Matheny has worked closely in the US to support commercial projects in the health care and oil and gas markets to include construction and operation and maintenance of facilities.
Mr. Matheny served for 6 years on the board of the Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth and the Champions of Freedom Foundation.
Chuck lives in Huntsville, Alabama, has been married to his wife Regina for 23 years. Together, they have three children, Austin, Joe and Jenny.
